Excellent food and service. Pig out at the carvery! And the ice cream is yummy too. Highly recommended place to have a good scran and a pint.
Been here a few times and it wasn't up scratch this time. I had the carvery, was not impressed. It usually good, I had the turkey and it was dryer than a camel's hump! But nothing looked any better. And the veg was tasteless. To be fair it was busy and the pizza are very good.
We had Starters, a Regular Carvery each followed by Desert & really enjoyed it but was too full after. I felt it was a nice relaxing atmosphere with nice food & nice choice of Beers & Wine. Place is Huge and was extremely busy as it was Sunday. Great Place.
Nicely refurbished pub and restaurant. Had the carvery option midweek. It was good on a weekday but due to the lower turnover of the food in the week, most of the dishes were too cold. This made you eat quite quickly...a bit more supervision needed to help maintain the quality and temperature of the ingredients. Drink options good. Waiting staff were good.
Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Very well priced. Not a lot of choice for puddings but I only like sundaes and banana splits! First visit. Will go again.
