Beautiful house & gardens... I'm happy to pay to go into the gardens as they are so well kept and beautiful. The stunning conservatory with amazing architecture & flowers including a Waterlily pond. You can access some of the grounds for free. Also has a garden centre, great cafe with outside seating and inside. My niece's love looking at all the fish in the aquatic shop. They sell great gifts too! Always beautiful at Christmas! Free parking & the Enchanted Woodland is worth a visit!
One of Robert Adam's masterpieces. The interiors are just breathtaking with a wonderful collection of paintings and artistic objects. There are some reproductions of famous works of art like Michaelangelo's Bacchus. The history of the monastery previous to the current residence is very well explained. You can also see a bedroom where Queen Victoria stayed when still a young princess.
What a beautiful place! Epic garden centre packed to meet every agricultural need. Staff are chilled and friendly. There is a great buffet style restaurant with good, reasonably priced food. Ample free parking! It's surrounded by a huge park, most of which is private land, but you can still have a long stroll. Close the river side if you fancy a more adventurous walk.
Went there for the enchanted forest thing. It was nice. The trail is nicely laid out and clear. You can purchase food and drink before hand at the stalls set up which is nice. Good use of light and music and also lasers and smoke machine. It's just over a mile of walking. Mix of path and grass so wear comfortable shoes. It's probably worth the 12:50. And also they have parking on site which is a nice touch as the ticket does not give you that information. Not sure I would go again unless drastically different. But a one off visit for sure.
Garden centre with good range of plants. Aquatic centre with fish and plants. Free parking. Cafe with very good coffee and cakes. Syon house is open at a fee so you can look round the house and gardens. Also have a children indoor play venue.
